I initially began looking into SLA because I was familiar with Bjarke Ingels Group (another firm in based in Copenhagen), and I wanted to compare their graphic style to other firms in the area. I was impressed with SLA's ability to create compelling character studies that are easy to read and relate to, without being too photorealistic. This project in particular is done primarily in grayscale yet still manages to portray a great sense of depth. SLA's graphic style also peaked my interest because they don't seem to spend as much time making their plans dynamic. Instead they focus on creating these interesting photomontages, which in the end are probably more useful in selling their designs to clients who may not be able to relate to a plan view. This differs greatly from my experiences both at Ball State and at my internships where the plan drawing always seems to be the first priority and any character sketches were bonus and not necessarily of very high quality. In general I'm impressed with the landscape graphics that are coming out of Denmark at the moment.

This is an absolutely gorgeous project! Thank you for bringing this to my attention! Can you please add a brief reflection though? I'm interested to know your thoughts.
